Who is Ruth? Well that's a great question! I am an Entrepreneur, Mom, Grandma, Fitness Enthusiast, Foodie, Teamster. A New York Girl who's honest to a fault, loyal to my own detriment, I work hard and I play hard! I am all about my family, fitness and traveling around the world trying new foods and new cultures.
I loved running, karate, swimming and weights for years until I herniated a disc at 23. After that I went through lots of physical therapy and changed my workout habits. I discovered spinning in 2003 which I could not get enough of! I’m a rhythm rider and I loved it so much I got my spinning certification in 2014 while working the front desk at Equinox on Wall Street (Yeah, you read that right!). A year later I got a double hip replacement due to arthritis – ugh hard recovery! But Yoga for Back Pain – SAVED MY LIFE! Now it's 2022, I am 64 years old and even with my joint and arthritis issues, I am still standing!
I work out because my body requires it – and my soul NEEDS IT. I’ve had several surgeries which make it necessary to work out and keep MOVIN!
